What Swearless does

Swearless is a voluntary self-reflection and language-practice tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not guarantee reduced swearing or any particular outcome.

Use it thoughtfully

Only start monitoring where you have the right to use the microphone and people around you are comfortable with it. Recognition can include nearby speech and may miss or misidentify words. Review the logs before drawing conclusions. Never operate the app while driving or when attention is needed for safety.

Your choices and records

You choose the words, sessions, reflections and phrases. The catalog contains explicit language for voluntary tracking. There is no Swearless account. Keep an export if your records matter to you; beta software can change or fail. Removing app data does not erase your exports or backups.

Research and content

Research summaries are educational and describe limitations. Original phrases are editorial suggestions, not clinically tested scripts. The app’s illustrations and original content belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party software notices are available in the app.

App Store distribution and subscriptions

Swearless includes 5 free listening minutes per day and starter features. Longer listening, detailed insights, reports and the complete guided practice experience require an optional subscription. Free starter access does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. The app shows your local price, billing period and renewal terms before purchase. Apple processes payment, and Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies to the licensed app. Manage or cancel renewal in your Apple Account settings; cancelling renewal or deleting the app does not delete local records or immediately end access already paid for. Invited TestFlight users make purchases in Apple’s testing environment. A later release may have different features, availability and terms, disclosed before use. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove mandatory consumer rights.
